Very effective skyline. Makes me a little homesick fo where I grew up. I like the contrast between the expanse of the lake and the rumbling, threatening clouds. You can see the wind in the "Windy City!" The orange trees are an interesting accent, too. With all the buildings looking like their verticals just really want to be parallel, it might be worth the effort to tweak the perspective in PS to straighten the ever-so-slight inward lean of the outer buildings.

A souvenir merchant atop a high road pass in Tibet tosses an amber ball in
the air to entice a potential buyer with the item's magical allure. I think the
amber was probably just plastic, but the magic seems to be working
nevertheless. Thanks for your critique.

I liked this image though it hasn't been rated very highly. What do you think? Does it
convey the energy of the performer? Thanks for any critical thoughts you may be
able to offer.

Posted previously in color, I'm wondering whether I like it better in B&W.
What do you think?

Posted previously in color, I thought I'd try a B&W conversion. Do you
think it works in B&W? Thanks for any comments.

There's a lot happening in the turbulent sky that seems to be in dialogue with the texture of the rock, with the calm river caught in between. It takes a special nerve to use B&W in what was undoubtedly a colorful landscape, and pull it off so successfully.
