When nature decided to give you a rare show like this, you better be ready. And apparently you were. Once in a lifetime shot. Absolutely breathtaking. Except for one small nit: the horizon is slightly tilted to the right.
-
Not everyday you would encounter something like this. Great marine-life photography. Almost an abstract of blue shades and silhouettes. Awesome shot.

ONe of the best flower shot I've ever seen. Amazing composition. It is so rich in details and my eyes keep trying to find more and more. Beautiful conversion as well.
-
well done! excellent textures & tones. the glass sphere lift this shot from good to great.
-
Excellent photojournalism. Beautifully done.
-
Classic Tri-X tones & application.
Ian, your portfolio is a huge source of inspiration. Congrats on the POW selection again.

Bob, these Pola pics are inspirational! I would love to hear about the whole image-making process.

I remember that like it was yesterday. :-)
I like your tongue-in-cheek approach here, Rick.

Amazing quality as usual, Nana. First class portrait. Pleasing lighting.
-
Very nicely done. I love the silhouettes of the poles on the foreground.
-
It does, indeed! Nice portrait, althought the highlight on the side of the face is a tad too strong.
-
Very moody and wonderful. COngrats on such a great image!
-
Highly original. Very well-executed.

Don't know what to say except WOW!! Now I want a large format.
-
Simply magnificent. Truly deserving to be POW. Your portfolio is a delight to the senses.
-
Very impressive.
-
Good try. But, I feel that the perspective on the foreground is unintentional and would have been better taken with the camera parallel to the poppies.
-
Wilson, to me, this is warm and inviting due to the light quality. However, I think the cropping is less than ideal, especially on the chairs peeking from the left side of the frame. An exceptional capture of light, nonetheless.

Very good capture, Cris. This is a wonderful abstract.
