Well thanks for the kind comments. Actually this was utterly an accident - like most of my photos.
-
Just curious if you like the infrared. This was actually a pretty dangerous hike. Believe it or
not.

Hi thanks for the advice. However since the photo was taken 35 years ago and the photographer is no longer a young man and no longer heeds helpful advice, and the moment is long gone it will not be possible to increase the DOF or change the distracting background. It is what it is. Thanks for the tips.

Really nice use of selective focus. Intense eyes.

The purpose of this pphotogaph is for technical illustration, not esthetics or originality. It
is intended to illustrate the application of lubricant to a lens helical. I would appreciate any
comments related to the effectiveness of lighting, focus, orientation, exposure and any
other feature related to it's intended purpose. Thank you.

for 2131 dollars. I wonder how long the buyer will wait before realizing that he's not getting a camera. Then this auction too will vanish without a trace.
-
The auction has vanished without a trace. As if it never happened.
-
Most likely he's not in UK - probably beyond the reach of western authorities in Ukrane or even Iran.
Look here - http://www.ifccfbi.gov/index.asp

This same pattern of criminal activity keeps happening with such regularity. Ebay does nothing. FBI does nothing. So I have to. Even with the same MO, and often the same pictures, the criminals just keep reeling in unwary fools who can't wait to part with their money.
-
The person is no longer a registered user. Interestingly, none of the buyers from this seller are either. Looks like some poor fool was scammed. I know I have seen this camera in a previous scam. Folks you just don't use bankwire or western union. You just don't. You don't sell high ticket item in three day auction. You don't use private auction.
-
The auction has been pulled - without a trace.
-
Has the same serial number as the previously sold lens
-
This auction was deleted shortly after I screen snatched it.
-
And here is what the lucky buyer has to say about it . . .
-
Here is the serial number of the lens in question; if I were you I would not buy this next time it comes up. . . probably in a few weeks.
-
See - he is no longer registered.
-
It's good to see you keeping in touch. Actually the spate of low ratings just adds to my amusement. What I don't find funny is that people keep biting at these offers. But I've done my job. I think that this one will end my collection as the pattern is clearly evident to the keen eye.
Peace be with you;
Donald

Payment by bankwire. At least the crook was courteous enough to respond to my email.
-
I can't believe that you guys don't like my shots of bogus auctions. I am truly hurt. Tell you what - go buy it and see if you get your camera.
-
I would welcome any commentary and helpful suggestion.
Thank you.

Looks like a very nice place for a swim. Is this where you live Kamol?
