  1. 1. if you shoot the ocean from the rock above it never renders the same impression of height that you had being there. it is better to shoot "paralel" to the coast line.

    2. if you leave it in colour (as opposed to b&w) then make sure you shoot on sunny day. especially the colour of water would change dramatically in sunny conditions. you might also use polarisation filter to get deeper colour.

    3. try to catch a person on the picture - it gives a point of reference in assessing the height of cliffs

    I do not quite understand the idea of this picture. The collors can be reversed on a computer by three years old child as well. Is there anything I missed in this photo?

    What do you think of cropping out a few centimeters of the bottom? This would make the child less centered. Also: this dark area at the bottom adds nothing to the picture.
