Wow, the uploaded photo is huge! Nice shot though. The depth of field is perfect, and I like the way the bright piece contrasts with the frosted ones.

Actually the light source was a hand held minimag flashlight. I put the camera on buld, opened the shutter and exposed with the flashlight for about 30 seconds. I moved the flashlight around the motorcycle to "paint with light", for an artistic look and feel.

Why is everything so green? Also, maybe a bad scan, but the fence could use a lot sharper focus.

That's a tough shot. Good exposure balance, considering the bright backlighting. Looks like a polarizer helped? I wonder if a little fill flash would have brought out the line and texture in the tree truck a little more.

I love the colors in this, even though it's approaching a black and white. I think the rule of thirds would help it though. Maybe should have put the main subject tree off center some. Keeps you looking though.
