Nice! Leave it be! On-camera fill flash would overexpose the foreground if you were focused on the boy anyway.

To start with: there's too much sun and considerable lens flare.
This picture could be improved by taking it during sunset when the sky would have nice reds and oranges as a backdrop for the silhouetted corn. The blue just isn't working for me. Also, I'm not sure that the bottom treeline adds anything to the picture. Keep at it!
