I have a Canon Rebel X (a great, practically free camera) that's had electrical tape on it for many years with no problems.

A Canon 7 was my first rangefinder camera. I bought it and a Canon 35/1.5 in 1990 for $300. My second lens was a Summitar, which i picked up for $75. I got a lot of mileage out of that kit.

22 pancake. That little 40 sure feels good on that little camera.

Great lens. Now I want a 22 f2.0 for my T2i.

The scientific name should be in italics, Anthidium manicatum, with the genus only capitalized. On the rare occasions binomials appear in newspapers or pop magazines, the convention is rarely followed, due to poor editing. Since this is a nature forum, it would be good to see correct usage.
I'll get off my soapbox now, and go get some more coffee.

The 7 was my first rangefinder camera. The lens was the dreaded 35/1.5. Then I picked up a summitar and was hooked forever.

Hey Canon, catch up with Nikon. Your lenses aren't making it.

Ty, most of my published photos have been in scientific journals, where sharpness is very important.

More EF-S primes, please, Canon. Small, light.

Wow, f4.5, that's pretty slow. Nice looking lens, though.

No, I really like 40s. I've got a 40/2 Zuiko on my OM1, an Oly 35 RC with a 42/2.8, and my EF 28/2.8 is a 45 equivalent on my Canon 30D. I'd like a 40 to put on my M3 of SLRs, the Pentax SL.

My first SLR was a Vivitar 220/SL. It had a smoother wind-on than the Canon F1n that replaced it.

Communities have good and bad points. It's been a long time since I've been threatened by a Leica forum member.

Does the $39.99 include a roll of duct tape?

My first SLR was a Vivitar copy of a Spotmatic. A very nice camera, with a smoother wind-on than my next, a Canon F1n. The camera is long gone, given to a friend, but some of the lenses live on. The F1n is gone, too, but I still have the Canon to M42 adapter, just in case.
