I like this very much. The composition and lighting are fabulous!

As much as I hate squirrels, I love this. "hey, forget about that nut back there, I wanta crack that camera!"
-
Muddy, and board in the foreground hurts.

Please critique my folder from Southern Utah. Be as scathing or as
glowing as you please, please. Thanks, Mark Atwell

Just a snapshot with nothing to lead the eye anywhere and a washed out sky...

7 and 4. Too bad the ball wasn't frozen on the racket head to bring the head out of the shadows. Not the most flattering pic of Anna and yet I'd say it's my favorite. (I always wondered what the ball-throwing hand did after the release...)

Very nicely done.

Very nice! Looks like icecicles (sp?) or ice cream.

Fabulous! Makes me want to go set my tent up and shoot!
-
Reminds me of abstract stained-glass.

The truck poking into the young lady throws the photo out of balance.

Something about the framing bugs me. I'd like to see the light coming from the cafe window more and maybe what the chair is facing. I like the color and the lit tree.

I like the depth here. A little low on the contrast though. And I'd like to see the tops of the kitty's ears. Next time set the mower a little higher !

Just a question, why shoot so fast?
Trying to learn here, that's all. I like the shot alot.

VERY nice! I agree the Sepia works nicely with the historical implications. I might've cropped the bottom a bit to remove what looks like the photographer's path near the rocks.

I have just uploaded my first folder of photos from a New Years
business trip to Washington State.
New to this site with a new (used) MF camera and I'd like any and all
feedback regarding the photos themselves and the construction of the
folder (resolution, photo details, etc.). It had rained the morning
I shot these, the sky was very somber and the light was flat so I
wasn't sure I was going to get anything good. Thanks for your
comments.

Better if you could've walked up under the powerlines and just gotten the tree in the foreground.
