  1. I'm building a plexiglass container/box for a hockey/goalie cam

    (remote control, of course).

I notice that to put the camera at the bottom center of the net, I

need a lense slightly wider than my 18mm. Does anybody have a

    recommendation? Fisheye vs. ret~~~~ur? 17mm? 16mm?

When I shoot other pictures in this environment, I shoot 1/250th,

f2.8, and 1600 ISO. I'm assuming I'll need at least an f2.8 lens.

I'm wonderering if I should use a manual focus lense? I'm wondering

if I'll be satisfied with a fast lens wide open (necessary for proper

exposure, but what will the depth of field be?)

    Thanks for your help.

  2. Can anybody help me understand the difference in image quality for

the D1H vs. D1X, when the images are shot at 1600 ISO? I understand

that setting the D1X to 1600 ISO is more difficult than doing the

same on a D1H, but I don't know what the resultant image qualities

    would be.

I understand the difference between the two cameras is speed and file

size, and I understand the 5 fps for 40 frames vs. the 3 fps for 9

frames. Can you tell me what to expect after the 9th such frame on

    the D1X? A 1 secong lag? Longer?

    Thanks.
