The tree, the bridge, the water - very nice composition. Most of all, as others are saying, it's the wonderful light. Wow! This picture says "warm" and "freezing" in one breath. Bravo.

I stopped to look at this image for a long time. It's very, very good. Technically, it's well done--the focus, exposure. And emotionally, it captures a moment well. For some reason, this image really speaks to me deeply. I wish we could be "like children" even after we've become adults.

Her expression is priceless, and it's contrasted by the (it seems to me) slightly strained expression of the woman (mother?) sitting next to her. See, this picture tells a story, and it's a mystery. Nice work.

This is probably the most moving picture I've ever seen on photo.net. Not only mothers felt a shiver when looking at this image. The face, the ear and hair, the hands, the soft clothes - it's beautiful. Thank you.

I had to stop and look closely at this one. Nice shot. Great color and exposure. How in the world did you do this without getting your equipment wet?

I had to stop and look at this image for a while. It's gorgeous. You know, it's stately and classically composed, but with the curves and lighting and tones, it isn't dull or static. Nice job.

Nice work! The black background is excellent - it isolates the girls and the water. Reminds us all of being a kid in the summer.

Beautiful, interesting image - a very successful shot. Yuri, I'd love to hear the details of how you did it (lighting, glass, etc.). Congratulations!

Very moving and very beautiful. Nice work.

Great job, to die for. The blur to focus attention on the model works well. Her lacy dress and that smile - wow! Did you give her parents a copy? They're very lucky to know you!

Great, great lighting. A pleasing study in greens. Great composition. Nice job!

Excellent - I just had to stop and take a good look at this picture. I like it all the more because I can't see the surfer's face. It's his body language the tells the whole story, and his arm and legs are so sharp! Colorwise, the contrast is just beautiful. What else? Well, it has motion and drama. Bravo!

Gorgeous job, and an unusual angle done successfully. Very nice.

Great composition, very nice reflections and great sky.

John, thanks for risking your life to take the picture! It's beautifully moody, surely a B&W subject.

What a heavenly scene, well captured. Very nice depth of field, from the rocks in the foreground to the distant foliage.
Yes, that diagonal log is a little distracting, but then again it does slant well in the composition.
