nice photo, good composition, and the ability to make people think. I'm sure most viewers came up with a their own story behind the picture, which most good pictures to do.

 

Warning though, that negatively critiquing this particular photographer will result in vengeful ratings. Those who care to be honest, might not want to rate here.

it has a certain ethereal quality, but the lack of detail and contrast through a soft focus-like effect make the photo seem muddy and the subject seem sleepy. was there another light source to go with the daylight?

very precious... i like the feel of the shot. if the heads in the bottom weren't there I'd say it's almost a stock shot for a bridal company, but with the heads there, it has a voyeuristic quality about it. and moments like that are better spied and appreciated than staged and shot.

i'm curious to see what the pic looks like originally - stronger contrasts, and punchy colours would really put across the plastic -- i'm not sure if it's a scan problem tho...

found this at toronto idance, a tonne of people had signs, and I had my

flash on -- snapped it quickly. I have a few wishes for this quick

snap, wanted to see what everyone else thought

shot this with a flash, slow syncing it to get the blur of the lights

in the background....

perfect example of spot on depth of field... colours are somewhat muted, which adds a nice calm tone to the picture overall
