8/8 - Esthetics enhanced by water apray - what speed was this shot at to freeze the motion so crisply?
8 for originality per your positioning. Were you in splash danger?
-
Esthetics of 7 due to the nice placement and timing, was this handheld or on a good tripod/head?
Originality of 5 - I see thousands of cameras at every air show and many in evidence on this site.

Maybe the photo was taken in the vicinity of a Tim Hortons (Krispy Kreme) or a police department? If the photographer (artist?) would tell us if it was with a special lens, that'd help those who want to do similar as much as those who don't.
Cheers all,
Paul N.

Take David out and educate him on boundaries.
Take Vuk out and educate him on appropriate response.

I had loaded the Kodak Tri-X and was looking for something to test the
capabilities when I saw my son sitting on the front porch (waiting for
me to walk him to school). I'm no Sears photographer, so I just asked
him to be patient for a moment and clicked twice. I love my Pentax
SP1000 because it makes me stop and think about each photo. Open the
aperture, focus, click the light meter on, close the aperture down to
where I guess its ok, wind the film ahead and breath carefully while I
press gently down. Thankfully the CLANK of the shutter makes the
subject jump AFTER the shot.

Perfect for an LP cover. Now if people bought LP's anymore...
Lovely esthetic. Bang-on focus on the eye and nice drop-off fore and aft. Nice reality too. Either the makeup artist is magnificent or you didn't have one.
