The atmosphere is captured well. I get a feeling of unreality. In fact I would love to be there :-)
Looks like you shot at the extreme wide angle of the lens. The distortion is not unpleasing, but I would have preferred staighter columns. OTOH, the distortion in "The bridge over frozen water" is giving it an artistic touch that I liked very much.

I feel there should have been more detail, more sharpness in the picture. The "Large" version is slightly blurred. The green colour is very attractive and lively. It would have made a great shot with a little more crispness. Nice try, though. -
The photo is beautiful in itself. But your comment that you "tried to capture the grim darkness of winter" does not come out well in the picture. It looks more like early morning light. I associate grey colour with "grim" darkness of winter. Anyway, those are my thoughts. The picture as such is pretty nice :-)
