    I think the horizon works very well where it is. The issue I have is the balance of the composition. Having both land and tree at left pull all the weight and attention to that side. Having the light source (sunset) at right helps though. Still, it's a well done capture.

    I like the concept, but for some reason wish you would have used a different picture on the wall - a map or something that would lend to the story of why there is a magnifying glass. Still - nice.

    Not too dark, but a little more light on the horn of the sax might help. I like that you left the dead space where her feet would be. Fun and interesting composition.

    You've caught a lovely scene of the birds here, but it's just a little too busy. Cutting off the bird at the bottom hurts a bit too. The same theme with a more minimalist approach would work well. I like the black and white aspect and your overal value balance is good. Hope I was of some help.
