We were the last ones up there before the park ranger closed the

slippery roads and escorted us off the mountain. She was kind enough

to wait for me to finish racing around with tripod in hand to capture

these shots.

Yes, the light on the trailing smoke needs explaining, so I'll simply

propose it to be of moonlight. (Bright moonlight.)
