It's a nice place by the looks of it, but the photo doesn't really have a subject. The eye is drawn into the distance... but there's nothing to see there!
Still, I take photos like this all the time, as you can see from this picture!

The subject of this photo really likes the picture. It was taken
after we hiked up the mountain and then fog rolled into the valley,
almost all the way up to the top of the mountain where we were
standing. It looks as though he is marvelling at the beauty of the
sight, but in fact he was wondering how we were going to ski down
through the thick fog!
Please let me hear your opinion on the shot.

Taken one evening on the way home from work. I have hundreds of shots
of the river from this location, as it seems to look different each
time I pass by. This is one of my favourites. What do you think?

This was taken in Battersea, London, on an unusually warm day in
October 2001

I have had favourable reactions to this shot from friends. What do
you think? I had no particular objective when taking the shot other
than getting exposure right to give good contrast and range of
intensities on the negative.

I was wondering what everyone else thinks of this? Unedited, but it
came out very different than I remember seeing it.
Thanks.

This was taken from the base of the Auckland Skytower. I looked up
and noticed the bright moon, but unfortunately by the time I had my
camera out it was slightly obscured by clouds and I was being hurried
along by my companions who don't seem to understand why I want to
take photos of everything!
It looks like a b&w shot but isn't.

This was taken on a bright spring day with a red filter to darken the
sky. I like the high contrast bringing out the harsh lines of the
building.
