-
-
Thats good to hear. When i went there on sunday afternoon, i was told that most of it behind
the hawley was up in smoke. Granted though, camden market is quite big and spans a few
market areas as well.
-
thankfully i don't think the local planning council's going to allow that to happen anytime
soon. Camden is a major tourist attraction afterall

One of the more popular markets in London went ablaze on Sat evening. I was lucky to have been there
just moments before the blaze and thought i'd share some pictures of life moments before it all went up in
smoke...

my experience is with the 550ex which should be vastly similar. If u're not using an e-ttl
capable sync cable (ie u have a normal 2 pin sync cable), then u will need to set the flash to
manual mode and adjust the power accordingly. Because the flash is likely to be more
focused than continuous lighting, i'd suggest u use a diffusing device of sorts (umbrella
diffuser) to reduce the harsh shadows. Also, keep your subject further away from the
background to avoid them casting sharp shadows on the background. Its all about how
focused your light is really.

i'd go with the pod. I find it really helps for long shows as my arms don't get as tired.

Shot this a while back only scanned it yesterday when i had time to look thru the film...

The later coated summi-C's have the same coating as the M-rokkor i reckon. No imagery
difference really....Nor is there much diff in the built. The rokkors do have a more common
filter thread.

I'd go with the scanning route. A scanner, good computer and a good printer will take up
much less space than a mini printing darkroom. Also allows u to work anytime u want and in
the light. The conveniences are just too great. Burning and dodging in Photoshop is also a lot
easier allowing u to undo mistakes made. If u prefer B/W, look into either getting a earlier
generation Epson and use a dedicated B/W Lyson ink system or into the newer HP printers
with more gray tones. Guaranteed to make u happy.

jorge, for some reason, i find that wooden spatula sticking out of the oven rather disturbing.
Its almost spoiling the frame. A real pity.

matt u're a genius. Love the last 2. The first one's a bit too small for me to make out the
details
-
I always used the 35 frame lines on my m2 with no problems. Then again, i'm always framing
somewhat loosely to capture more of the background when using the lens for portraits and
stuff. I hardly use it for anything other than street portraits and docu portraits.....

where was this that u can get eagles so tame that they allow u to within 90mm range? I

the 28 is a sweet lens. Good choice mate..

considering i come from a chinese predominant country, i can fully understand the
sentiments. On the other hand, for many of us chinese living abroad, its sometimes the only
place where one can get a slice of asia.

hey man, i adore your work trevor. Please add more!!! Thanks guys. I did a quick and dirty
scan using my scan dual 3 so excuse the dust. Thats what i love about digital, dust on a
sensor doesn't look half as bad as dust on a neg!

Recent scans from a roll taken during the 18th of Feb (CNY) in london...... Sorry about the pop ups, perks
of a free server (not)

well there u have it, leica's even given u the solution. Good thinking on their part. Now if only
canon would do the same. Save me so much joy. That said, some of the canon chargers are
tiny.
