I cannot fault the composition. Hiowever, something seems to have been done to it post capture making it look false in the mountains they seem too
sharp somehow. There is not enough recession. It's as if you have been trying to capture all the detail there instead of leaving it as it is

The idea is great. I'm not sure about cropping the hair though it keeps her eyes in the top third but the eyes are closed so you don't need this crop. Having the eyes closed is a great idea as it adds mood and expression to the image. One other thing that concerns me is unless i'm mistaken there seems to be
too much digital retouching but 7/6

Lovely, i just wonder if cropping from the left would make for a better composition making the rays go more from left to right rather than from the centre?

This looks as if it could easily be used in a Charles Dickens novel. Very interesting, not just a portrait but telling a story perhaps?7/7

I agree essentially with what the previous contributer said
although my initial reaction was that there was too much space at the top if you were to crop it you would lose that sense of recession. I would disagree with the shadow though i think it needs that to give a sense of contrast and to appreciate the lighting, without that it might be in danger of looking flat7/7

It looks as one person said a little unnatural and i would agree even thought he composition is brilliant and has been done before many times. What appears to be backlighting or giving that effect is great and that time of year
is also wonderful but 6/7

Too often with this sort of subject you see it the centre this time the bird is on one side and the composition works very well
