This is a wonderful image. My wife and I had to send or dog Sox to heaven last year. We just adopted Lola a ball of energy w/ Legs.

Rainbow Bridge

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge. When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing: they each miss someone very special to them who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; his eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart. Then you cross the Rainbow Bridge together...

Ok in the good catagory you ball face and action, but. You need to target the peak action when the ball is leaving the foot not before. Also try to shoot during an actual game not a practice. There is way too much background in focus and the players uniform is not on correctly.

Keep trying, you will get it. It is all about timimg not laying on the motor drive.

This is an example of an good-excellent image. The pose and lighting are done very well. The Models expression and angle of her head arms and torso reflect very well. The head could be turned a little more toward the camera so that the nose does not interfear with the left eye..

But there are a few misses.

First is the obvious bra marks between the breasts. You need to have the model remove her most restrictive clothing at least an hour before the shoot. This allows the skin to "pop" back out.

Second there is a small dark spot on her left breast that looks like a bruise or perhaps an old injury use PS to remove this.

Third, is her lips. The lipstick was obviously applied in/for color (photography) and the image altered. A normally dark lip color will add contrast (get darker) in B&W and can also shift in tonality.

Lastly are the very obvious dark circles under the eyes. May I suggest a PROFESSIONAL make-up artist. One that is very familier with photo make-up and how it looks on film/digital. If you are working on a budget try and find an advanced student that needs portfolio work or maybe work out a trade w/ a working pro.

Overall a nice image.
