When I was looking through this folder two thinks kept running through my head. The first being how much I liked the photos and the second was how much they reminded my of works of Nan Golden. If you want to see someone who understands soft focus and who has made it big with their work all you have to do is look at Nan.

Personally I feel that focus or the lack of even in degrees is one of the most powerful tools that we have as artist.

Good image and I like the idea that you're playing with here.

May I recommend trying a Ilford Film. There HP5 (an 400iso) is really nice a give extremely good contrast. I say this just because I've had a hard time with TMX 400 not wanting to to give me the contrast I'm looking for in my work. When I try to get it where I want it the image overall image just starts to look bad. Just an idea.

This shot could be a lot better in my opinion in you cropped in tighter to get rid of the background. It doesn't add anything to the photo and could make the diffrence betwwen a good shot and a snapshot. Just my thoughts. I do like the subject matter.
