Beautifully Renaissanced! I find the detailed hand and chair in the foreground a bit too dominant and competing with the subject's lacy garment, although the chair is effectively monotonic and nicely illuminated. Perhaps a matching glove would help with the hand if it was fairly plain. Regardless, a great portrait.

A fantastic and interesting composition, Jovan. Viewed abstractly it appears almost skeletal, enhanced by the gray tone and interesting pose emphasizing shoulders and knees. The spiked shoes are an ideal complement. Original and impressive; please post more.

Nice concept for the location and execution. The figure lends an interesting animated feel to the whole scene.

Powerful shot with great B&W rendering. This is what B&W is all about. Fantastic!
-
Nice juxtaposition of elements. Engagingly complex and profuse in style.

My current favorite in your portfolio. Impersonal and consequently menacing.

This appears to be an interesting departure in your landscapes. It has a sense of foreboding akin to an early silent film like Nosferatu. The foreground is starkly contrasted and well-rendered by your TSE lens, but I don't find it worthy of the remaining scope of the composition. Perhaps there was a lower or more forward perspective that might have been more effective? Overall, quite striking though!

One of my favorite nudes on Photo.net, even somewhat daunting. Love the use of offsetting abstractions and color choices.

Beautiful tone, clarity and sense of presence. Nice contrast with the central crater and foreground.

You paint/draw people and photograph mostly abstractions. Who'd have thought it?
-
Beautiful composition, the kind of scene I might have walked past, to my own detriment.

Nice color and contrast improved by fog. I understand the stone bridge collapsed in 2010.

Macabre and somewhat Pompeiian - very nice.

Great concept. A really enjoyable shot.

Very distinctive color and mood; nice choice of filter and exposure, not to mention composition. I like the style of all your pics.

Love the foreground color contrast and cloud-water mirroring.

Spectacular Minnesota portfolio, naturally more of a challenge than Wyoming. I've been in some of the same areas myself, but in dull weather. In spite of the attractive natural coloration due to the sun, I was wondering how this would look in B&W, given that the turbid water can look like Coca Cola. I suppose it might meld too much due to the dark hues, but it might be interesting. Anyway, you've shot some of the best river landscapes I've seen.

Fantastic and original--a photographer's alien party invitation, or an alien photographer's party invitation.

Great subject and aesthetic choices Scott; perfect for the spiny geometry.

Thanks for the comment. I find that the clouds, dune, trees and shrubs are oddly similarly billowy, which is one of my reasons for liking this shot.

Finally, some realism in nudes on this site.

Great portfolio. I detect more than a little Bacon in there, but no Spam.

Nice concept and mostly apt posings in relation to the sun sign personalities, although Capricorn may be a bit heavy handed. Personally, I seldom carry a triangle, but it is just like a Virgo to leave such a comment.
