Do not take my ratings personal. I have looked at your photos and I don't find them pleasing, that's right. The sun flower is one of the best in my opinion. Some cats are ok too. But good photography is more than just taking a photo of pets. It's rather painting than shooting. You don't need to like mine, but look at some of the top member rated photos like Tony Dummet. Maybe you will understand my ratings of your photos. -

I like it but I find the rectangular blanket disturbing the body shape.

Were your uncommented (negative) ratings of my photos somehow affected by my comment above regarding the sunflower? That would be very sad - but human.
If not, I apologize for my suspicion and would appreciate comments explaining your dislike of my photos. I'd really be interested in intelligent critique rather than stupid revenge.

Nice for the family album, but for the public - not very interesting.

Very pretty and funny. I feel, that the motorbike is bit competing with the three men. It would be perfect a few meters in the back.

Very contrasty. The light seems to lead somewhere, but then there is nothing, except a lantern. However, it conveys a dramatic atmosphere, I guess by the high contrast. -

Nice shot. Maybe not too well balanced. Branches too close to the upper border. A bit too much empty space.

The framing could be better. And the out of focus foreground, I find a bit disturbing although the focus is placed correclty on the background wing.

The reader is not standing out enough (small) to make it the main subject. To me, he's rather disturbing the otherwise nice scenerie than being the main subject. He might be better positioned in the foreground.
