Nice shot. Is that a light mounted on the board or remote flash? I'm guessing it's continuous light otherwise it would be an impossible shot to capture in focus and with such composition. I've never seen anything like this before -- great inovative thinking. Hopefully the surfer wasn't too blinded by the light. :) I've night surfed in San Diego before and know how dark it truly gets. This is a great shot. -
Great subject chossen by many photographers. If you're still in that area, try the shot with a polarizer to really deapen the sky color and to really bring out the red rock.

Use of a noise reduction plug-in or stand-alone software would tremendously improve the quality of this photo. The cityscape photo makes me truly miss my hometown of San Diego.

Is the photo titled as such because she had red hair? Regardless I like the tones, texture and composition -- and of course not to mention a very attractive model.

Very nice shot that grabbed my attention while browsing the thumb nails.
I agree with placing the main subject here just a little off center - more to the right.
With this wonderfuly dark sky you might have also shown a little bit more of it.
