more and more the rating system makes less sense for me. some people rated this picture 2/2, other people 6/6. none of them left a comment. so the rating is really of no use for me. they don't let me know what is bad, what is good and how i can improve. it seems the rating is of greater use for the raters vanity and proud and to lead other people to the own photos. do other users have the same impression?

The exposure of the picture was really made by guessing and i had

good luck since it was an dia film. the rolleiflex has no meter and

my hand meter is not able to give a value at this "light".

this building is an old jewish department store in the eastern part

of berlin. as far as i know it has been abandoned since world war 2.

after the reunion it became a center of alternatives and artists.

i made this picture handheld in the stairhouse. do you like it? what

the picture is very busy. may be it would work better in colour.

thanks for your time and the suggestion. you are right about colours and brightness. just considering the photo itself your suggestion is better than the original photo. but actually i think my photo is closer to the reality as it was this day. and that is the reason why i prefer the original photo. it was foggy but only i shiny layer of fog was left so it was very bright and diffussive light. do you understand what i mean?
