    This photo wasn't much to begin with, and the scan was rather poor as well. So i agree with the ho hum. The backdrop was nothing more than a dreary front sidewalk, and without cropping the picture was rather poor. I've only had this camera for a few weeks and i'm just getting used to it and seeing how it works in different situations, i hope to actually post some quality photos in the near future. Thank you for any suggestions.

    thanks for your suggestions, the scan did alter teh color a bit, the print in my opinion actually looks much nicer. I'm going to scan the negative this week and replace this picture with that. I was on an edge of a bank and had some trees directly behind me, picture was taken around 10 a.m. at approximately 9000 feet. I didn't have a polarizer with me, although i wish i would have. This was taken with a Pentax Super ME.

    Just a quick comment, the bottom of the picture was partially cut off by the scanner, i haven't had a chance to rescan it yet, but i think the picture is fuller and better framed with teh bottom in tact. Any suggestions on the photo and how to make more of it are gladly welcome.
