Amar, I really like this work you are doing with the veil. Like the styling of this image, especially the way the hair falls. The expression leaves some sort of mystry as others too mentioned. Taking a cue from Haleh's comment, I think it'll be nice to see how it looks with her face completely covered in the veil (she's got strong features, I personally think it'll be interesting).

 

Thanks a lot for your comments on my latest series (as always). I am still recovering from a PC crash, so haven't been able to visit this site for a long time. BTW, I had to change the image you commented on to complete the series.

Amar, thanks for your comments. I agree with you about the elbow. I wanted to create a 'parellel-reality' through this series. The makeup and the poses were conceived accordingly. As well the juxtaposition of reality and un-reality (all of them lying down in some form or other). Would have been nice if we got outfits too, but that did not happen.

Amar, sorry I could not post my response to your question earlier. My first intention was to juxtapose two aesthetic opposites and see how they stand together. Then I started thinking more in terms of adding some meaning to it, but I guess I'd not let my thoughts bias others interpretation :).

Well seen and captured and funny. To me what makes the image is the person running in the background. From that standpoint I'd not mind cropping the excavator a bit more tight.

Very nice. I specifically like the touch of darker tone (could be a petal or shadow) towards the middle of the flower, to me that's what makes the image.

 

Your portfolio has very rich color. You seem to have your way with hues of red. Kudos.

This is excellent. Normally I'd not think this pose works, but it really does. Great job. The balance between the background and model's outfit is well executed too.

I like the concept behind this image a lot. My small nitpicks are the odd looking left hand and the fall off in the lower left corner. I'd probably use a warming gel so as to get a light yellowish skin tone which I feel will be more harmonious with the background. However kudos for the execution in any case.

Overall a very nice image. Couple of nitpicks, if I may. I feel it'll be better if the face was a bit off center and right hand was more extended along the diagonal. The nail polish on the little finger of the left hand distracts. May be better off taking a bit of saturation away from the skin, but that of course is a personal taste.
