For horizontal composition on a 6x7 format, you can rotate the back and do it on the Mamiya RB/RZ. Now try that on the GS-1 and you will know why Bronica can not compete with Mamiya on the 6x7 format. That was the main reason I bought the RZ over 10 year ago.

I used the clear rubber glue found on any stationary ailse on department store ( Kmart, Walmart) to reglue the leather on my Hassy backs. It cost less than $2.00 a bottle and it works wonderful. It's repositionable and the glue can be remove by alcohol, Just remeber to follow instruction on the label.

I am using TIFFEN and HOYA

Rick, this is a very common problem with the Hassy back, a gear (plastic, for film spacing) in the back has worn out, it only cost a few dollars for the part, but to get in to it is another issue.

James:
The lab manager lied to you.
If the shutter in the lense is sticky you will either get an over expose or under expose negs, because the shutter is close or open in an expanded ( or contract) circular iris.
You can check your mirroe by removing the lense and press the shutter release while looking either from the front of the body or on top of the screen ( remove the screen first).
But I think the problem is in the processing lab.

yes there are indeed a 6 frames (6x6) 120 out there ( or 5 frame if 6x7).
I've got some Konica films that was handed out during a few camera shown in California a few years back. You may want to call Konica to ask for this half roll 120.

the light strap for the 12 and A12 back are identical.

I am considering the Hasselblad to Nikon lens adapter, does it worth the money or it's just another piece of useless equipment ?
Any feed back is appreciated.

Wait until either Mamiya, or Bronica or Hasselblad come out with an autofocus system, I think some time next year is the time frame.

Scott, give me the name and phone number of the store if you decided not to buy that out fit.
thanks

the same.
just like if you are using a hand held meter, get a reading from the meter and set the fstop and shutter speed according to the reading, regarless whther 35mm, MF or large format.

I need some feed back on the kiev 88 prism, I heard that it can be use for the Hasselblad camera, the price for this prism is dirt cheap compared to "Hassy" prism price. Does it really "work" or should I just forget about it go for a used Hassy prism.

I have an older Hasselblad 12 back that have an overlapping frames problem.
Is this a common problem of the back ? and how much would it costs me to get it repair ?

a lot of 120 films is not available on 220, so your decission is really base on whether the film you are going to shoot with will be available in 220 format or not, Mamiya has a 6x6 back for it RZ that can be used as both 120/220 format, I own one and it's very convenient, one drawn back is that I have to crop my neg. to 645 if I want to have it print on retangular print.
Does anyone have experience with the Winder I, for Mamiya RZ67?
in Medium Format

I have the Winder I and have been using for the past 11 years with no problem or whatsoever. The previous poster mentioned about the winder would not be able to wound the film some time, well that will happen if the battery is about to be exhausted. I use rechargeble in mine.
I was told by a Mamiya tech years ago that the main diff. between the
WinderII and the I is the the newer one can use an AC adapter for the battery.
