It looks the same to me when I was there taking the photo. It was that flat in the back and that saturated in the front.

I would say the subject is the whole scenery rather than the small house. My city, Hong Kong is famous for its metropolis character, while most of the people (esp. tourists) are not aware of its rural and undeveloped area. I hope this photo can give others a better illustration of my home city. Hope this help your understanding.

And the power tranmission towers look nature to me. They are there in the scenery. Yes, the picture may look a bit better with them removed. But I would rather leave them there as a true record.

After seeing this week's Photo of the Week, I think I should submit

this one for comparison. I hope the comparison can teach me something.

Actually I don't understand this week's Photo of the Week much.

I know my one is not as good as that one. But I just wonder why it is

the "Photo of the Week". I think even other photos in Chris Battey's

porfolio are better than that one.

I want to keep the focus on the people inside the bus stop initially, therefore, I overexpose a little bit, so as to wash out out the sign a little bit.

The photo is a little bit lean, coz the ground where the tripod standing is not level.
