Thank you for your comments. Believe it or not the photo was taken with a tripod. My lens does not have a macro setting and at such close focussing, this is the best I could manage. :-(

Thank you David and Martin for your comments. Point taken. This is my first attempt at photography and this is a photo from the first roll ever from an SLR camera. Comments that will help me learn are well appreciated.
