Thank you for your comments - Olivier Truan

Sorry Matevz, I believe the flare ruins your image. But I did 5 minutes of work in PS with the burn tool and it already looks better. I am sure you can save your image if you work on it for a couple of hours. Good luck!

I'm the pianist, I'm taking the shot. She's the flower girl, she really wanted to be on the
picture, as you can see. Behind us is the audience. Thank you for your input!

How many times can you see me? I stopped counting after 21 - a very strange place to be by yourself...
-
Since I did work with a tripod, my choice of DOF was, indeed, on purpose. I could have had it sharp from front to back, but I preferred this version because in my opinion it does have more depth.
-
I waited for the jet for a long time (I'd seen one pass there earlier), always worrying that the rapidly changing light would disappear, but at the end I was lucky...

Too bad the scale doesn't go to 11 (like in "Spinal Tap")
-
She's beautiful and your photograph brings it all out!
-
The feeling is *really* familiar!
-
Another one of my favorites! I love the colors, too.
-
Yes! A very original and personal presentation. Honest and straight forward. I like this one best at this very moment, but tomorrow it might be another one, and that's the great thing about your work, moments in time: for you and for the viewer.
-
How is the composition? Does the viewer realize that the sky is shaped like a plane or is
it too abstract? How about the red post on the concrete - do you like it or is it distracting?
The picture is not digitally manipulated. Would you change anything digitally to improve
the image? Do you like the panorama format? Would you crop?
-
Please don't rate this picture. It is part of my huge photographic diary that I have started in 1989. It's sole purpose is to show viewers how my photos are displayed. please visit my presentation here.

Can't do it! I've heard that crossing is easier for people. Maybe you can ad a crossed version? But isn't Stereoscopy a great thing? I did a lot with medium format cameras and it's mindblowing...
-
It's great with the crop! I like the different shades of blue. Bluetiful!
-
I love the green reflection on the plane - from another world!
-
Thank you, Greg! They should try it themselves! You can't compare a camera obscura to a Nikon F5! Polaroid is damn difficult to handle (if it's not a Polaroid back from a Pro camera), but it's a great thing nevertheless.
-
Well, thank you! I love them too, but after taking about 5000 of them I had to move on...
-
On my monitor the colors are exactly like on the chrome, and in fact exactly as in reality. The sun was at it's best, the grass was green and the flower purple and the combination was just mindblowing. This is all natural!

OKOK I admit, I was leaning on the grand piano with the left part of the camera...
-
I like the picture too, but I can see your point, it's a bit dark in the front. The things I would maybe correct: 1. I can see some vignetting from your filter (4 corners) 2. Why the polarizer? It's a BW picture - were the reflections that bad? Why not use a orange or red filter instead and bring out the shadows in the sky? 3. Too bad the boat is cropped, it would have been nice to see the entire boat and row. 4. The third stick is exactly in front of the beautiful building. Maybe you could have found a slightly better position to avoid this - maybe not... But I really like the atmosphere and the feeling it transports.

It's a nice view, but with subjects like this all lines have to be parallel to each other and also parallel to the frame of the picture. If you are unable to achieve this because you can't change the angle of view, don't have the right camera/lens or can't change your position relative to the subject, you have to do the opposite: make the lines as converging as possible. If it's in the middle, almost parallel but not entirely you miss your shot or you have to spend some time in Photoshop. I have corrected your picture here. Of course the best thing would be to change your position in the first place.

Contrary to Deepak I really like that the tree is slightly off-center. If you move it to the left because of the branches, it will be in the center and be much more boring. That way you get tension. I love it.
