I like the backlighting and the DOF... I like that you chose NOT to show us the inside of the flowers. Full on flower face shots are so common. I've taken plenty and am guilty of many very commonplace floral shots.

I don't know why you think it is vile. It may not be the most attractive view of a cow but it IS original. Frank is daring to step out of the box. I never looked this closely at cow lips before and find it interesting.
When it first came on my screen only the top half of the photo was visible. I thought it was a man with a mustache.. then I scrolled down and saw the chin and thought it was a cat rubbing it's face on a branch.
Cow...... hmmmmmmmmmm...

I like the DOF and the diagonal orientation leads my eye to the top. Shadow doesn't bother me. I like it better than a completely flat background.

This is just beautiful! it looks like a painting from a romantic novel

funny shot. With the 'human?' snta were sharper

The only thing that could be improved here (IMHO) is that the little girls face is so blurry. The person behind her and to the right seems to be more in focus.
-
kinda spooky effect.

Very interesting. Original view of a fish we see in Walmart every week.

Beautiful colors. Nice composition. I especially like the small figure atop the rock. Adds a human touch to what would be just another spectacular sunset photo.

I know how hard it is to get these shots. I spent an hour trying to catch a butterfly once myself. Good job getting him focused and in frame

In photographing animals I always have tried to get the entire face in view. But this little kitten half hidden emits such feelings of abandonment!

interesting subject. I like the details in this photo. The gaping opening in the shirt. The expressions on both the man and the dog. A photo with a story.
-
Beautiful color. I would have liked to see a person on one of the docks though.
-
I like the inclusion of the bit of water in the foreground. The reflection is so clear in it.
-
Beautiful color. nice capture of the water's movement. I would like to see this from another angle.
-
I like the inclusion of the fallen tree/trees. And I find the curve of the river pleasing as well.
-
I think the brush and scrub add to the desolate feeling of the building. I like it very much.

I was trying to capture the eiree feeling I get waiting alone
downtown for the commuter train. Had to wait quite a while for
subjects to enter the scene.

Cropped in photoshop. Would this be better with or without the
reflection?
