Do you think that there are too many elements in the photo? You could mercilessly crop, getting rid of anything that doesn't emphasize what you are trying to say.

Those clouds are spectacular and really make the shot. It seems like you couldn't have balanced the composition much better and a vertical would not have worked nearly as well.

Does this image catch your eye and lead it into increasing detail?

I like the colors and the composition on this one. The patch of dark on the lower left is slightly distracting.

I thought there was an interesting play of color and subdivision of

purple and white, but is it a strong composition?

I think this is a once in a lifetime shot. The composition is utterly surreal and it draws the viewer into the frame, eliciting feelings of danger and impending doom.

This is one of the coolest pics I've ever seen. Congratulations on capturing it so well.

Please tell me what this photo means to you. I feel it's somewhat

poignant given that I took it in May of this year. But then again it

just might be me! :)
