Hi Alberto,
Thank you for your crop suggestion and valid comments. However the shot was intended to be a portrait of the town of Chepstow, deliberately incorporating the town's three main features (ie. the castle, the river and the bridge) and on that basis the shot worked. It was subsequently published my book on the River Wye.

Hello Alberto! Thank you for your kind words about my castle picture. I have looked at your folders with great interest and picked this one as my favourite. There is a wonderful quality to the light. A difficult tonal range that has been handled perfectly.
Barry.

Great, well-though out shot! If I were to be super-critical though, I would prefer to see more of the banister rails at the bottom edge.

A great image Walter! As you admit though, maybe a tad over-sharpened here. I visited the plfotoart site upon your invitation and was duly impressed! Your shots of the lily pads and the sunset ("Eternal") both display exquisitly there.
I hope you re-consider posting here Walter, as I for one have appreciated your enthusiasm and fellowship!
Best regards,
Barry.

Quite amazing and unusual shot. I have no problem with the foreground here, it places the geysers in their natural setting.

This is magnificent! Absolutely superb!

This is my folder favourite, Natasha. There is great style and thought in your work - there are so many possibilities for the viewer to imagine in your pictures. I especially like the square format used in this - such a powerful device in black and white work I think.
