Does the figure in the right hand side help or hinder this photo?

I'm too minds as to whether this is better with the figure in the right hand side or would it be better without what do you think?

I'm pretty happy with this shot except for one thing; the lampost in

the lefthand corner shows that the cammera was not help quite

verticaly, how badly do you think it effects the image?
