Nice tone range and composition. Looks good.

Yuck, the compression artifacts are really bad. The image I uploaded didn't have this. Has photo.net upped their compression amount? That's really nasty to look at.

I like this photo. Well composed, exposed (got both the foreground and sky) and interesting (love the windows and of interesting architecture). Good work.

Please share your thoughts and ratings. I'm specify interested infeedback on the color to b&w conversion.
Thanks! -

Nice color, detail and composition. A very interesting photograph. I like the way the architecture on the left is balanced with the mountain on the right. Good work.

Nice composition! The light isn't amazing but it works well here. Not a big fan of the background either, at least it could be out of focus. Also might have been nice to have the model put her hair behind her shoulder. Very nice work.
-
Great color. The mountains are a little over exposed and I get the feeling the photo is tilted a little. Perhaps you could rotate it a degree or two clockwise?
-
Nice photo but not sharp enough. You can push the ISO up to 800 no problem. You're using a Nikon D100! Also think about getting a Nikkor 50mm f/1.8d for low light stuff, if you don't already have one. They are only $100.

Nice and sharp with great color. Very nice.

I think you're correct. This photo was taken at 2pm.

Very nice 911 sc. Your photo has a green tint too it though.
-
Very cool photo & congrats on your new DSLR. I luv my D100.

I like the texture and design here but I think your angle isn't working. Dead on would be better (IMO). Keep up the good work.

Very interesting photo!

Nice place for a good old American BBQ. Perhaps you could cut off the right side that's all blown out?
-
I don't think the right half is all that interesting. Sure is a beautiful place.

I think this is an interesting and cool photograph. However it's
gotten low ratings. Could someone please share some thoughts with me?

I used PTGui from http://www.ptgui.com/
It works very well. You have to set the alignment points by hand and it doesn't do auto exposure correction. Very much worth the extra work over the automatic tools out there.

You should try playing around with this one in B&W.
-
Nice model, pose and tone range. You need some help with your lighting though. I really dislike it when you can see the sharp shadow of what looks like an on camera flash. Keep up the good work.

Love the light & the composition. Great photograph. In fact, all four of the portraits in this folder are excellent.
