This little flower was the only bit of colour in the garden of an

old house near my school. It was surrounded by weeds and dirt, and

stood out even though it was tiny.

This was taken when the local council moved a group of 10, 100 year

old palm trees to the street just outside my house. At 8am on a

Sunday morning I was woken up to "get your camera! this is amazing!"
