Other than some cropping and a little sharpening, nothing was done to

this photo. Even though the sun beam is blown out, does this image

work for you?

I like the contrast between the blue sky on the rail head and the

warm tones on the tie and tie plate. Comments?

Trying out my new 7HI today. This train was going about 40MPH and I

really don't like standing this close to a moving train! I managed to

guess a slow enough shutter speed to blur the wheels. Any comments or

advice?

I really like this photo... everything works for me. The faded colours are appropriate for the setting... neglect after years of service.

I keep coming back to it. I wish I had it on one of my office walls!

I came home for lunch yesterday and found Bailey catching a few

winks. It made me want to curl up and snooze for the afternoon but

alas, it was back to work for me.

After the obligatory group photos at the altar, I caught Jessica

taking a break by the church window. Do you think there is too much

shadow space?

I wanted to bring attention to the locomotives by removing the color

from the rest of the photo. Does it succeed?
