Yes, grit indeed. I love the limited colors which allows the red to have all the more importance. Good texture. I'd waste a lot of shots at this location, I know. -
Yeah, yeah, yeah. Blown out makes it even more so. My only nit is that the right side seems out-of-true (with a lean to the right). How did that happen? It pushes me out of the frame. Maybe that's the intent? -

I love how the coffe cup and pack of smokes and the position of the brown bag gives weight to your absence on the bench. Way cool shot.

I like the wood and its echo of the stick on the lower left adding some diagonal activity (along with the diagonal on the background above the chair). The colors and textures are superb.
