I've actually got that manual printed by the previous owner of the camera, and bound into a book. Trouble is, follwing the instructions doesn't give the right result. Spot metering works, but multi-spot is still greyed out.

I'm not that likely to want it, just annoying that it doesn't seem to work.

Anyone using this camera (or, probably, the newer models in the same

series, e.g. 720UZ) know how to make multi-spot metering work?

in the menus, the option is "greyed-out"; reading the manual and the

full reference manual doesn't yield much info.

on the same camera, there's supposed to be a panorama mode, which in

some cunning fashion is supplied on the original smartmedia card.

Since I've bought this one second-hand, I don't have the original

card. Anyone know if the necessary can be had and put on a different

card.

Someone has pointed out that one of my folders is not publically

viewable, and/or the photos in it.

I thought all pictures were public, but when I look, the flag says "no".

any idea how I can change it to "yes"?

I didn't intend it to be like that when I put it there, but of course,

when signed in, you can see your own stuff anyway.
