Colors were not manipulated. Trick was to under expose by about

2/3rds f-stop. Comments?

Couldn't help but notice the contrast between the old men and the

young lovers in the background...each doing their own thing and

ignoring the other!

I tried to capture the scale and size of the mountain in this pic,

as if it's almost touching the sky. Please give me your feedback!

My attempt at street photography. Can you count how many invitation

there are into this sex shop?

Sometimes I think of clouds as the mountains of the sky. Comments

No photoshop manipulation, although I'd like to highlight out the

stems a little more. Most such shots I see are usuall of a single

or several flowers, taken with the intent of highlighting the

flowers themselves. I thought I'd create some symbolism here in my

arrangement, hence the title "A Couple in Love". Your thoughts

This performer got quite famous after a documentary about him won an

Oscar. He appeared on Jay Leno. This shot was taken long before he

was famous. Comments welcome.

This photo is successful, in my opinion, for at least the following elements:

1. perfect timing - catching the peasant in a good position for framing

2. contrast - a peasant next to another man wearing what looks like a mink coat, with others smiling.

3. all the other technical stuff (exposure, development, etc)....

This is art.
