I have just purchased a mint condition Luna-Lux SBC meter and need an instruction manual. A photo copy will do, if available. Also anyone had any experience with this meter? Any advice, etc.??

I see lots of dissussion and sales on Yashicas, Rollis and others, but not much on the Minolta Autocord. These cameras were once considered good medium formats many years ago. Please advise any comments, etc. regarding these cameras.

I would like to purchase a medium priced, used meter as supplimentary backup to my Yashica 124G meter. I am told to be careful in that many of the good meters, such as the Gossen Luna-Pros require the mercury battery, which is no longer legal/available. Also, the alkaline replacements will not hold the constant voltage as the mercury cells do, which can lead to problems. Any thoughts or suggestions appreciated.

The Yashica 124G uses the Bay I series bayonet filters. These are the same as the Rollei filters in Bay I size. Many of the larger used camera stores have these for sale. The lens shade is the same Bay I. Check KEH Camera Brokers , located in Atlanta, GA, for instance. They have a Web Page at http://www.keh.com, which contains their complete catalog listings. Another alternative is to contact Wally Hill, in Arlington, TX. Wally sells a Bay I to 49mm adaptor, for $14, that allows you to use the standard 49mm screw filters, which can be had a lot cheaper. Wally's phone number is 817-472-5185. Get his rubber collapsiable lens hood while you are at it for $2. All post paid.
