This is a beautiful rendition of a scene I've seen
hundreds of times (having lived in Brooklyn for 40
years before moving to Staten Island). When I was your age kids used to dive off the pole where the gull is perched. This shot and the others of the Sheepshead Bay/Brighton Beach/Coney Island area bring back fond memories of my life there.
