    Oops, that title was my note to me - I didn't think about anyone seeing this. I put your changes in the folder plus changes I made in an attempt to improve this photo & the others. I was going to e-mail you & ask you to take a look to see what you thought. I forgot that new photos show up in the gallery as recent uploads for a little while. Thanks for your help!

    Definitely B&W. If the buildings were cropped off, this photo would have a wonderful quality of timelessness--could have been made yesterday or 75 years ago. I would crop just above the fence line so that you can still see the space beyond the chairs & the horizon but no buildings.

    I think I messed up the focus in Photodeluxe (don't have photoshop yet). I keep reading about using sharpen & unsharp mask but when I try it, it looks like either nothing happens or the whole image gets raggedy-looking. More reading & more practice needed! (any suggestions?) Thanks for your critiques - am trying to learn - be ruthless!

    Do you think the flatness is a digital camera thing or is it something I'm doing in photodeluxe? I'm going to try to post the color version & see what you think of it.
