While on vacation in Mazanillo Mexico I took this pix of a mural in a
church.

Very interesting and a dynamic image.

You got what was available at the time. An interesting photo.

As always, you excel.

I think Peter is right...it's a Fairy...I think, but it is not a macro shot. This is a lawn ornament about 1 1/2 ft high shot on my deck late in the afternoon in natural light. The shot had too much other stuff in the pix if I included all of the right wing. It was just shot with regard to the shadows on the face. Thanks for all your comments.

Background was darkened with PS.

I just had to do this one again. This time with a Nikkor 35 f2.8
lens. No filter again. 8 sec exposure at f2.8 using 200 ISO Fuji
superia film, Nikon FE2 and SB-23 flash. The clouds were much higher
this time but the tobacco sky from the city street lights still is
there. Scanned from the color negative and just removed some dust
artifacts with Photoshop...that's it. Comments?

LOOK at the pix. Close. Is there something wrong?
Or I am wrong. You tell me. Im am open.
-
By the way, what is between the head and body?
-
Shock value. It's there. But, the facial artifacts are basically the same as the jacket. I know that this is probably coincidence?

A great shot! Love the lighting, pose and hat!
The three combinded are suberb! Was this done with one light at 45 deg elevation near the camera?
