  1. Hello. I know the pin is for pushing the pressure plate further when using flat glass . But I wonder when the pin will push the pressure plate. Is it just before film counter reach 1? I tested that and found the pin will loose pressure after film counter reach 1. That means the pressure plate only lift up away from glass at the very beginning . does someone know how the pin work during transport?
  2. I have asked a reputable camera technician in my area and his opinion is that he will only clean the side facing the shutter and the film compartment but not the inner sides. Nevertheless I am still wanting the rear group to be taken out for a cleaning of the inner sides of elements, at least to stop it growing deeper. I have the tools and tried a number of times to disassemble rolleiflex/rolleicord. But this time the bellow is what the difficult part in the disassembly as forcing it out in wrong way may just damage it and causing light leaks. So I hope someone can share their experience on this.
  3. Hello. Does someone know the proper way of removing the rear lens group of rolleiflex 2.8c ? Mine has some fungus grow on it and so I plan to screw it down for cleaning the elements. However, there is no slot on the group for lens spanner and there is also a bellow structure which I dont know how it will come off. Please see the photos. I also noted that the bellow here seems similar to the one for 2.8E. Grateful if someone can share their knowledge on the steps/tools to remove it.
  4. The same 4 element 3 group description also appear in another c330s catalogue which looks like unaltered mamiya's original copy. https://ianbfoto.com/downloads/Brochures/Mamiya C330S Brochure.pdf The angle of view is a bit wider. 5 element description appear in older brochure, with angle of view a bit narrower. https://ianbfoto.com/downloads/Brochures/Mamiya C330F-C220 Brochure.pdf So it is interesting if mamiya did make some mistakes in those description.
  5. I have searched discussion online regarding the differences between the old black 80 2.8 and the newer 80 2.8 s. Everyone said they are optically the same for the taking lens with multicoated on S lens. Nevertheless I just discovered from a c330s manual and noted that it is described as having 4elements in 3groups rather than 5elements for the old one. Could someone who got the lens look into that and report their findings?
