  1. So much to learn! I will start doing that is I am going to store my film in the fridge again. I have those bottles so my chemicals should last a while.
  2. Ok well as long as that is the issue I can avoid that. Any suggestions for storing the film in the fridge more a few months?
  3. Hey, I tried to develop my first roll of colour film over the weekend but ended up with some strange issues where the edges of the frames are lighter than the middle. I usually shoot B&W film and havent had any issues like this before (I have shot 30+ rolls of B&W film (developed and scanned it myself) on this camera in the last 6 months) so I don't think its light leaks but quite possibly and issue with the development? Here are the details of the film and development. Any suggestions or help would be amazing. FILM: Kodak Ektar 100 SIZE: 120 CAMERA: Yashica D DEVELOPER: TETENAL Colortec C41 (1L Kit) - Freshly mixed full batch TEMPERATURE: 39°C (using CineStill Temperature Control System) TANK: Paterson Tank (Tank remained in water bath to keep consistent temp.) AGITATION: Constant (using rotary agitation) TIMES: PREHEAT: 5min DEVELOPER: 3min 15sec BLIX: 4mins WASH: 3mins STABILIZER: 1min SCANNER: Epson V600 The only other thing that might be relevant is that I shot the film more than a mont ago and its just been sitting in the fridge. The C-41 chemistry doesn't have the longest shelf life so I was just waiting till I had enough rolls. Any thoughts or suggestions would be amazing.
  4. Thanks so much. I really appreciate the help. I rewashed some of the negatives I had issues with and it looks like that resolved the issue. So it's my washing/drying method that needs adjusting. I will get some distilled water for the final wash and give that a go. 🙂
  5. Thanks for the comments. I am using Ilford Ilfoto. It's hard to get PhotoFlo in Australia at the moment (it's pretty hard to get any film related online here at the moment) Im not currently using distilled water. Should I use that for the whole wash or just the final wash with the wetting agent? I also have a rain water tank would that be any better?
  6. Hey everyone, I seem to be getting marks like this every now and then on my negatives. It doesn't happen constantly and it might only happen to 1 or 2 frames in a roll if it does happen. Sometime it doesn't happen at all. Details: Film: Rollei RPX 100 - 120 Developer: HC-110 (1+63) | 20° | 15 min Stop: Kodak Stop | 1min Fixer: Ilford Rapid Fixer | 5min Wash: 10min (running tap water) Final Wash: Ilfotol 30sec (tap water) Dry: Hang vertically from clip in bathroom for 3+hrs to dry It looks like it's on the emulsion side of the film. I have tried mixing new batches of fixer and stop bath. I only use my developer as one shot so it's always fresh. All chemicals are fairly new and in date. Any thoughts or suggestions would be much appreciated. 🙂
  7. Really appreciate all the help. These are all new skills for me 🙂 I will have a look and see if I still have the backing paper.
  8. Ok cool. Thanks for the replies. That makes me feel better.
  9. They are on the negative and it looks like its on every negative in the roll. This is the only time I have seen this on my negatives. I develop using a small Paterson tanks and plastic reel. I also developed a roll of 120 Rollei Ortho Plus 25 today after the Rollei RPX 25 with no issues, using similar times and developer dilution.
  10. Does anyone know what these lines on my negative are? Details: Camera: Yashica D Film: Rollei RPX 25 Aperture: 22 Shutter Speed: 1 Sec Developer: HC-110 | 20° | 5 min Stop: Kodak Stop | 1min Fixer: Ilford Rapid Fixer | 5min
