  1. I recently purchased a Ricohflex Dia L and noticed the f/stops are reverse of the manual and all other Ricohflex Dia L’s I have seen for sale. My f/22 is on the left and the manual and other are on the right. Anyone ever seen this before? Does anyone know why? Thank you, Eric
  2. The manual I received with the camera is in Japanese at it has f/22 on right.
  3. His is a Ricoh Discord. Mine is the Ricohflex Dia L. The owners manual is reverse of mine. The manual on shows f/22 on the right. Mine is on the left.
  4. The other thing I see on my Ricohflex is the aperture settings are reversed. f/22 is on the left looking as you would to shoot. f/3.5 is to the right. Has anyone else seen this? Thank you.
  5. Thanks for your info on Ciro-flex's made after 1948 having the addition of the Fresnel plate below the groundglass. Once I saw this I realized the wet stop I saw was due to the cleaning agent getting between the layers.

I removed the plates and was able to do a better job of cleaning and than dried them, reassembled them and now have nice clean view.

  6. I just purchased a Ciro-flex (E) and when looking through the viewing hood I saw that it was dirty. I removed the hood and cleaned the mirror with no problem, but when I cleaned the the focusing screen it now looks like it has a wet area in it? I can still see through it but why does it looks wet. Do I need a new focusing screen, and if what size it?????? Eric

  8. Some of my aperture setting labels are missing. Is there a company that can replace them?
