Today at Great Sand Dunes NP

2 of the flowers from my wife's bouquet from our wedding. 20th anniversary is in July. She passed from cancer in 2009. After the wedding, we moved 4 times prior to her passing. Since she passed, I moved with our three boys 6 times, with a 7th move coming the first week of August. In three of those moves, I sold everything that wouldn't fit in the SUV/minivan I was driving and started over. But the vase that holds these flowers has always remained. Planning on re-shooting this because I decided I would prefer the focal plane to begin at the foremost petals rather than on the rosebud. Then planning on shooting a fresh rose and calla lily on a glossy white surface and hanging metal or acrylic prints of each in the new house.
