is this a good pan shot of a car? -
i think it might be blurry from shaky hands. i didn't have my tripod with me. the room was really dark with the exception of the lamp i pointed at his head. -

i don't really understand what i did either. i just liked the redness of the brick and i originally wanted to take a picture of the bird. -
its very interesting to see so many different interpretations of my photo that didn't get any comments last time i posted it. but... mark happened to be the only person that actually understood my intent.
there is a tungsten cast because the picture was taken in the evening (no sunlight left) and i didn't want to use flash.
i didn't scan the film my self. i sent in my roll of film to clubphoto and they did the rest. not bad for $1.

i didn't get any responses last time. i'm trying again. i have another version of this picture where most of his body is cropped. would that have been a better picture?

i would like some comments about the composition, exposure, lighting,
etc. what does the background say about the person?
