whydangle 0 Posted October 30, 2009 A collection of boulders seem tossed aside by the elements, as if cast away like useless building blocks from the mountains. Meanwhile, the boulders seem to be building their own mountain, stacked in a manner that defies gravity. My first post of this scene was a tighter crop of just the mountains and the boulders. I think this composition works as well, but provides a completely different context of mood. The expanse of the terrain imparts a different feel. In all honesty, I chose this comp at the time to utilize the upper clouds as a frame. The intention is to print this as a large format framed print that better conveys the expanse and scale of the scene. Meanwhile, I have provided a Larger preview that makes the image come to life. Not Here 93 Posted October 31, 2009 Mark... Fabulous, with all the elements seemingly focusing on the unique rocks and then the eyes find the distant mountains... all wrapped in this wonderful glow... excellent... (now, how did you get those rocks stacked like that?)... Mike Link to comment
